This is not niche because it is bizarre, but rather it's bizarre because it is a niche: Haven't you noticed an eerie lack of commercially successful or even critically appraised games which simulate the Art of Sales? It's just disturbingly ironic that so highly grossing and engrossing an industry tends often to depict salespeople in a marginalized or even satirical fashion, yet one is hard-pressed to find a good game which recreates the experience of selling. Human Life depends upon successful negotiations, and consumerism defines a substantial portion of contemporary identity, so I am curious about this tendency.
