Incredible atmosphere and great pacing. Any game with this type of mood and setting immediately gets me invested. Love to see more.
I looove the idea and the gameplay, it really is such an awesome idea with good design... The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because I felt the ending could've been better, and because I feel the audio could've been more immersive and upsetting. I never truly felt legitimately on edge, maybe a bit uneasy but never dreading what was coming next - sound alone can improve that. KIRA had a game called The Undying Beast that 100% NAILED the audio and made me so fucking upset about moving forward, it's probably because this was in a game jam that maybe they didn't have a chance to put in more distressing audio? IDK. But the ending probably would've been WAY more creepy if the whole game had increasingly creepy audio to accompany it.
EDIT: Okay I found all four tapes using the coordinates on the back of the disk (the first one was really hard for me to find, because I didn't realize the coordinates would have almost double to depth of what the coordinates said, but it makes sense the tape would sink) and... eh. I guess I learned some stuff about the lore, but quite honestly, none of it clicked with me at all into some concrete new information that mad e going out of my way to collect all the tapes worth it.
Wow, there's more game outside the game than inside the game! I suck at ARGs but there are some comments that talk about everything they found.
Unsettling, especially piecing these things together.... haunting af
Wish it was longer but it was really fun!

I love the beautifully thick naughty language, this is MY kind of poetry!
It just don't work. When I press something - anything - all other things can't be interacted with anymore.
