Hello! I am a 2d artist willing to do backgrounds, character designs or basic animations for a game jam. If you are  willing to let me join your team please drop your discord below. (I can do a little 3d modeling in blender but not that well.)

Hello there!

I recently found this game jam, and it immediately piqued my interest! I have a lot of passion as to how video games can be applied as a storytelling medium, leading to my interest in Visual Novels.

I have some experience as a programmer, working with Unity for 2-3 years, and with RPG Maker MZ for the better part of a year (as of the time of writing this), which has given me the required skills to publish a handful of my own (admittedly rather small) projects.

However, my main field of expertise lies in design and in writing (I've also published a book and some newspaper articles). I also have some level of experience with digital art, but nowhere near enough for a larger scale project (such as a game jam), since I tend to take quite a long time to finish my drawings.

As such, if this small description has attracted your interest, I would be profoundly honored to work with you on this project, since I have been looking for someone with more experience with 2D art.

Brief summary:

I have experience with programming (mainly with Unity and with RPG Maker MZ, though I prefer the latter), as well as art design (and conceptual design in general).

My main field of expertise is in writing (mainly inspired by a slew of 20th and 19th century novels).

My Discord is "kaitoakira", with an image of an absolutely adorable bat.

If you have any trouble getting in contact with my account, kindly send a reply to this message, and I'll try my best to help out.

Once again, I thank you for your time, and I hope we can have a great time working together.

Sincerely,

Akira-San Games
