It took me a few tries but I killed the king! It is simple but fun. The pixel art is great and the music adds great atmosphere.
Hey, congratulations! Thanks for the kind words, it means a lot to us. How many times/where did you die before killing the king?
I think it took me around 4 tries. I mostly died at the part where multiple guards were walking together. There was one attempt where I just kept mashing the attack move and had all the guards chasing behind me lol. I almost made it too but one lone guard smacked me in the face. Once I realized that I don't need to kill all the guards and should just sneak past the ones who are grouped I made it to the king.
Amazing game! But checkpoints would have been good
I'd say one before and after the two man patrols
Thanks for playing and leaving a comment! Checkpoints are turning in to quite a popular request...
Every game where you can "Stab Tackle" someone is a good game in my book.
With that being said, I agree with the poster below. Checkpoints would have mad this perfect. But without them I am not determined enough to play it again after dying two times in the later sections.
It is still a very great idea and I enjoyed the whole experience a lot. Great job!
Hey, thanks for playing and leaving a comment! Just out of curiosity, about how long would you say you played for in total?
Nice game, but I feel like adding Checkpoints would be a good Idea.
Hey! Thanks for leaving a comment. Checkpoints would probably make the game a lot less frustrating and tedious, but we were so rushed all the way down to the last few minutes that we didn't even give it a thought.
I'm not sure we'll develop the game further, but if we do, checkpoints is definitely something we'll look in to!
