I'm really happy you liked the idea of the game. I'll try to improve it in the next days, to get closer to the scope I had in mind, but wasn't able to produce during the Jam. You can follow the project if you like to see the next versions. And your feedback would be really appreciated!

Avoid using apple trees for wood, and try using the farther apple trees even in the beggining of the game. But to be honest, it's a little unbalanced right now, and I intend to update, remake the game map, and enhance the experience in the next days, so, if you liked it, follow the project to get the updates =)
