Cycles made us think of cycles around a racing track, and to add more cycles to it we made you pop back to the start of the race with a portal.

We did not have time to focus on audio balance, so the sounds can be loud. Lowering your computers volume suggested.

The sensation of speed is good, the controls a bit slippery but responsive - when I hit a wall I know it's because I drove into it. UI looks cool, but I've seen the design before, but that's ok - what's not ok, is the fact it won't fit on my screen. I've also seen this game under a different name, I don't know if that's Your alias or someone is stealing your game, you might want to check that out.

Thanks for playing our game! We run out of time during the jam, but we are happy it is at least this good. I'm disappointed to see the UI didn't scale properly, but we didn't have much time for testing either. I know the game exists under the same name on another account (another one of us tried to upload it first, but we think his anti-virus deleted some files from it and so it's on my account now), but if it also exists under some other name that would be theft, but a quick search couldn't find it at least.
This is the one I've seen: https://thomas-marrs.itch.io/race-cycle probably the early submission by your teammate. There was some talk on the previous jam that one game has been copy-pasted to some other site. I wanted to let you know, just in case.
This was a really interesting take on a racing game. With a little bit more difficulty, I think this could be a game that would be a lot of fun to play, especially against other people. There was a lot of polish in this game, especially with the really professional-looking menu. The grinder at the end was pretty intimidating, especially with the sounds that felt like they wouldn't have been out of place in a horror game. I did notice that it seemed like my vehicle was always leaning to the left, which felt like it was unintentional.
Thanks for trying our game! There were some ideas for a boost mechanic, improving the AI and making it multiplayer, but unfortunately everything took longer than we had planned for. We even had more sounds made, but we couldn't implement them in time. But we had fun, and we are happy with what we managed to get out.
