This was really cool! I like the way you interpreted the theme.

The monster designs were really interesting and the dialogue was fun too :)

Thanks so much!  I was pleased with the idea I had as it relates to the theme.

What a way to nail the theme, it started our kinda slow, but then bam it got difficult quickly. I really like the mechanics, and the controls. Overall great job!

Hey, thanks!  It's just a start, I suppose.  Hopefully I can make a better game out of it if I ever have time.

If I'm not wrong, the clouds are not sprites, they are procedurally generated. They look awesome!

I really liked the aesthetic, and I loved the dessign of the monsters. And also the detail you took for adding the death animation! And the melody of the song, its very catchy.

Very complete game. The only thing I missed it was some kind of score or monsters killed.

As a suggestion, if you still working on the game, it would be cool if the butterfly could interact in some way with the monsters.

PS: I liked a lot the text after game over screen haha.
Congratulations for the game!

Yes - you're right about the clouds.  Very simple, but I like the added randomness.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions!  I didn't quite have time to come up with some kind of score idea, but perhaps just a simple monster kill count would be good.  And I like the idea of having the butterfly have more interactions - I wanted to add some sort of power-ups that would spawn high in the sky so the player would have to decide if they had time to abandon the guy to get a power-up.  Ultimately there are many ideas I didn't have time to implement.

Thanks, again, for the words of encouragement!

Random backgrounds, nice touch.  I'm dig'n the monster styles wish we could of seen more.

I like your monsters. And the oblivious protagonist is a great idea. We did a somewhat similar theme/idea!
