The juxtaposition of single-color pixel art and use of parallax motion for backgrounds is trippy; I like it!

The farthest I got before making this comment was Level 2. I go all over the level tracking down four switches, then face a boss I don't know how to fight yet, and when I lose... I'd have to do all of that over again? That's very true to how games of the 80s were, but I'm not sure I like it. haha XD

Sound nitpick: the hearts and switches could use some little sound effects. Other than that, the music and sound are great, very appropriate for the aesthetic.

Nice little game! I really dig the 1-bit aesthetic! However it is sometimes difficult to make the difference between the actual terrain/obstacles and the scenery. It does look a bit cluttered at times.

Controls are simple but easy to grasp, though I didn't realize you can perform a double jump at first. That opened a new path for me in the second level.

It seems some messages were skipped at times (or not enough time to read them).

Music and sound FX are very fitting for this kind of retro game.

Same here; I didn't know that triple jumps were do-able until I'd gotten quite a ways into the second level!

I found the controls a bit slippery, but I like the concept!

Interesting game. Reminds me of old Atari styled games. Could never make it past the forest level.
