This game has improved massively since last time I played. Well done on all the new features and content as well as the QoL stuff I am seeing in this build.

It might be just a little bit addicting (I saw after playing for almost 2 hours and missing my bedtime).

I think it's still sometimes hard to tell what a skill will actually do, but that's a function of having so many effects and skills with proc chances and whatnot. I don't even know how to suggest improving that at this point.

Other than info overload and some occasionally unforgiving RNG, I didn't find any friction points that significantly reduced my enjoyment of the game.

Developer

Thank you so much for playing and for the feedback moogle!

I'll work on brainstorming some methods of improving effect clarity.

If there's anything in the RNG area you'd like changed, please let me know.

I think the RNG thing is just part of the genre but I'll certainly pop back in if I think of anything later on.

BTW did you decide on a title, from what I am seeing?

Developer

I see, and yes this is the title (at least for now). If you have any ideas though, please let me know.

As mentioned, I've been brainstorming how to better show what effects do without having to hover over them.

Thoughts on this to help summarize effects?

I like that approach. Hopefully none of the effects are too complex (from what I've seen so far should be OK)

Fun game, I only did a couple of runs but I keep running into new mechanics and, judging by the screenshots, I haven't even unlocked half of them yet. I honestly find it hard to rate a game that has so much going on, but I can definitely see people getting addicted to the gameplay loop.

The main mechanic around which everything else seems to revolve around is the combat and I'm happy to say it's really fun and it remains rather varied since you generate a random party each time.

The "souls" I encountered are all animated pretty well, but their sprites can be rather inconsistent in terms of detail and anatomy. Maybe that's intended but I personally believe it's a little distracting.

Thank you so much for playing and for the feedback Bakar!

In terms of the souls with varying detail and anatomy, this is a fair point. Not all sprites are from the same artist, thus I had to weigh the consequence of having more variety with inconsistency vs. less variety but more consistency. So far, I've been leaning towards the former.

Thanks again!

the voices are a charm!

animations are smooth, voices very well worked on, flow of the game is perfect

the fast paced nature of it get a bit in contrast to all the tutorials in the beginning, perhaps there could be more space between tutorials that keep the engagement with the known mechanics.

Developer

I appreciate the feedback, Velvet!

I'll work on extending the time between introducing each new mechanic/tutorial.
