You know I care bc I had to mf type this twice because my dumbass cat  hit the keyboard and closed my tab!

Absolutely amazing horror vn. Compelling story, characters, exciting and mysterious, always wanting more and wondering what's going to happen next, I am seriously anticipating the release. Everything is used well and in the right amount and right way. The music, sound and text effects, the presentation, the portraits and cgs, and so so so much art. A lot of vns are lazy and lack art content, or there stories are lacking. Here we have good art, good writing, and interesting characters and a fresh story. If you're into horror do it up homie.

Hello! Welcome to Feedback Quest 7! My name's Hythrain and I'm one of the hosts and one of the streamers for this event! This feedback is being written live as I stream your game! If you're interested in seeing my live reaction, let me know and I can send you a link to the VOD once it's posted to YouTube!

So my normal approach for any game in these events is simple: I get the game, make sure it's not a virus, then play it with as little information on how to play as possible. This way, I can judge how intuitively someone can figure out the game. Only if it's obvious that I need to read more will I do so. I note this so you can get a sense where some of these feedback comes from. In addition, I want to note that feedback and rating are different; don't use this feedback to gauge what I'll rate, nor should you view my rating as entirely indicative of my feedback.

I only played the first chapter, getting the Parallels ending, but it sure gave me some chills. It's not often you get a game where the narrative tells you so much about how the player character thinks and feels. There were points where the thoughts Demian was having felt very familiar to me.

If I had to think of any feedback, it's that there doesn't seem to be much for the player to do. It almost felt like choices didn't matter, but I could be wrong. I also feel that this title could benefit from voice acting, both for characters and for narration, since otherwise it can get really wordy. I had a few tongue twists while I was trying to read it on stream.

If I get more time, I'll give it another go to try and head into chapter 2.

I'd love to see your reaction, yeah!

And about the "choices didn't matter" thing: (mild spoiler, but) that IS the intention of Chapter 1! Up until the big moment at the end, your choices don't matter, because they're the thoughts in Demian's head that they can never act on. In Chapter 2, though, your choices do start to matter a lot more.
