I first came up with the Idea back in April last year. Since then, I've been trying to create a small prototype for it, but couldn't get myself to finish it. So here it is, a prototype for Guns of the New West (title subject to change).

Love how each person has a slightly different speed at which they shoot so you want to take care of them first before anyone else. Choosing a non-violent approach with shooting off the hats is a cool idea for a larger and consequential game. I liked the guys hiding behind certain areas, and the little dialogue they say before killing you if you ran out of bullets. The saloon has me stumped with the ninja, I tried to shoot the red guy when the ninja was next to it, thinking he'd blow up, or getting the ninja in front of the hostage taker to see if he'd shoot the ninja from behind, but I couldn't pass it. I was able to beat the first level, but definitely not with a mouse. Even with a touchscreen, it's still somewhat difficult, but it definitely becomes a lot more playable, so you might want to think about developing it further for a mobile device. Congrats on finishing the demo for the game jam though, I enjoyed it! :)

Thank you very much for playing and for the feedback.

I just uploaded a new version in which I've increased time some enemies take before shooting, it might be more playable than before. If you're stuck in the saloon, see what the chandelier can do for you. :)

No way! I thought that was a glitch when I was playing. It was shooting the wrong guy, but I didn't know it would reach the ninja.

This is a fun game.I enjoyed like the strategy in the planning phase when scoping out the targets. could use some slower pace as the shots play out, its all over a bit quickly sometimes for the player to be able to see what they missed. its a good style, love the tech cowboy saloon theme!

Thanks for playing and for the feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'll definitely look into pacing and see what I can do to make to make things more prominent as the shots play out.
