one question though: why is the size of the embedded game in the browser so small?
that's the actual game window that's why.

Good start. I like that you have a intro story. The game play is smooth, and that slowdown when you die is great!
For the life of me, I can’t figure out how to throw the fireball (playing in browser with keyboard)
to shoot a fireball press "Enter" which you use to power up and then press "space" which is attack to shoot a fireball. Allow the bars to fill up to max and press attack to activate a combo move "FIREBALL BARRAGE" and finished with an "INFERNO BOMB" .
