The ambience is especially good in this one, and that's usually pretty hard to get right, so great job! =D

Being lost in the woods with ~something~ has to be one of the worst scenarios imaginable, and I feel like you explored that fear very well, especially with the randomization. I did have a bit of trouble reading the intro story at times, mainly when the newspaper was in the background, but nothing that got too much in the way =) Keep up the great work!

Happy to hear that you liked the ambiance and the general idea, it's something that's evolved all throughout development and I put quite a bit of work into it so it's nice to see it's paid off.

I agree with the newspaper behind the text, I'll fix that in a later update. Thanks for the feedback!

I love the story you had in this and the amount of detail that went into it, the game was a bit too dark though to the point where it was hard to get immersed into the gameplay. I think it's just a matter of improving the flashlight though. On the other hand, the sound design was the best among all the entries I've rated so far so great work there and also like I said, I enjoyed the story element too. Over-all it was pretty good and it brought back some good memories of when I used to do let's play videos while I played it. Thank you for sharing this project with the game jam! :D

Thank you for the feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed playing. Haha I agree something about the lighting needs to be changed. It looks fine on my screen back when I've seen other people play it I'm like, holy crap that's really dark. As for the sounds, those were mostly from freesound.org lol.

It doesn't always matter that a sound was free or custom, it matters how they're used and I'd say you used them well. Even Akira Yamaoka from the team behind Silent Hill used a lot of samples he downloaded and that included his sound effects. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I thought your game sounded good while playing it.

Really creepy and atmospheric design on this project. I'm loving the general setting and environments that are used here. The randomization aspect is a really nice touch, especially for a game like this. Being unable to a follow a specific path on replays helps to add to the feeling of being lost.

Keep up the good work!

Yeah, it took me a little while to get the atmosphere right. Glad you liked it and thanks for playing!

damn man this was such a good game, I don't usually play horror games but this was good, I played it in the dark alone made me feel as if I really was in that forest and feeling stuff! great job!

Thanks for sharing man! This was my first attempt at making a horror game and I hope to do more like this. Glad you liked it! :)
