What month did you finish this in?
March

How many things have you finished in 2025 including this?
Just this one!

Did you learn anything from making this?
This was both hard and easy. I thought it'd be this little project but I found that all the work I did resulted in something big and wonderful. I was really taken aback!

OMG hi!!!! I haven't checked this out yet but it looks AMAZING! I absolutely loved One Page Haven and followed you after I found it, so I got an email about this game being released. I never would've dreamed it'd make it into our jam!

And goodness, yeah, I totally understand when a "small" project explodes into something so much more. Which makes it even more incredible that you finished it!

Thank you, Beth! I'm glad you guys made this Jam too. I felt like I could reach some kind of finish line on this one.

The reason I was surprised was - In the past I'd give up on projects if they took too long to complete unless my muse was very strong. But I've been doing some internal work over the past 12 months and suddenly I felt the need to do this one and work on it bit by bit. Small parts. Consistently. That's not something I could do before, a patient kind of flow of creativity on one thing. Then came the time to put it all together and what I thought would be 15 pages max was over 50 and I was like, "OMG...did...did I do this?!"

If you'd asked me before I started this if I could make something like this I'd have called you crazy.

As it turns out small moves over time can create something big. Who'd have thunk it? lol

Yeah, nearly 60 pages in two formats AND the template is a LOT, especially with your awesome layout work and art and all! Goodness, it takes us a solid several days just to make a draft of a one-page (both sides) game!

I read once how a little at a time seems meaningless, but a page a day for a year is a novel. And I just shared earlier the whole James Clear thing of growing 1% a day, how it doesn't make you 3.65x better at the end of the year, it makes you over 17x better thanks to compounding!

You deserve to be incredibly proud of this game, and I'm hyped to do more than just glance through it (thanks for all the community copies btw!).

I love that math! It feels so true.

And I gotta have community copies, community matters and a big part of what birthed this was being communally minded and uplift.

Let's all keep the creativity train running! lol
