The purpose of this jam was for people to be motivated to finish things, that's it. Are you sure you read the introduction and instructions of the jam? You can go on and post your game wherever you want after this, I'm satisfied that maybe people felt motivated by the deadline to complete a project :) I know it helped me!
Having a jam to motivate you finish a game, sounds fair. I guess I was expecting something more than that. Or it's because I have entered too many similarly anticlimactic jams. I just blocked the dude who made the One Year Jam just because I dont want to participate in any of his future jams ever again. Not sure if that would work, but yeah, I'd rather avoid similar jams. I dont think they do anything for me. At the very least I'm seeking feedback. Take my comment as a suggestion to improve any future jams. And I wish you luck.
I guess thanks for the feedback, but make sure you read the descriptions for jams carefully before entering them with some kind of expectation! Or make sure you ask the questions before you commit and feel uncomfortable :)
