Wow! I have to say, this is hands-down the *best* example of an interactive fiction/novel/game that I've ever encountered. Don't get me wrong, some of them are done well. However, most of the ones I've tried playing through rely a bit too heavily on text-only. Not only that, but some get a bit too dense with the text and the actual choices I can make as a player are too few and far between to keep me interested.
I've played around with Twine a few times, trying to imagine how I would like to take a stab at this type of "game" or "story" but knowing that I want to do something more exciting than most of the examples I've come across.
THIS is the experience that I've envisioned, basically. Your visuals, sound effects, animations....everything about this makes it immersive and engaging, in my opinion. It also gets dark early on, kind of unexpectedly, which is always a plus in my book. Thank you for sharing this, it has been inspiration for me!
