Good game concept! With a little more polish this would be a great minigame!

That is actually a really good idea, thanks! I will try it out asap to see how it affects the gameplay. I did it this way because the player was falling in part 1 as well so I never really thought about doing it vertical : )

I really like the idea here, how you basically toggle back and forth, like a creative take on Ninjump. The mechanics aren't quite working for me (because I really do suck at these types of games) but it has potential. What if you had the same gameplay but with a vertical screen, so you had more vertical space to time the jump across? It could still be difficult, but would feel like you were more in control.
