I love the game so far. I've played it for a few hours, mainly in training mode testing out the limits for each character. I'd say it's really well made and would love to see what happens in the future. The only negative I have is that the AI opponent is a bit too good. Also, when you look at purple's move list, the game crashes. Those are tiny nit-picks, as it's a good game overall!
I found out about purple's move list crashing the game during the expo. It's been fixed, but I haven't updated the version on itch. Otherwise I'm glad you liked it.
Really fun to play. Though it’s slower than other fighting games, it works for this aesthetic.
You might've been feeling the counter hit effect. Basically, if you hit someone out of their attack, it'll have slightly different properties and a slow mo effect to emphasize it.
That’s probably right. I have very little experience with this genre of games.
