as many things go, i started a piece the day the jam started and neglected it until the day the jam closed. but i happened to be sick this morning, and thinking about the jam sent me into a stupor fixated on finishing my work. this is the piece i would've submitted had it been on time, titled "waiting to cross"

i think my original vision had more detail in it, but as i half-finished it i liked leaving key background details out in favor of abstracting the important parts. made it feel a little dreamlike. i'd love to still participate in the zine!
