I'm so used to wanting to get and hoard every potion in a game. The use of potions as something to avoid is an awesome concept.
Did I just play a game from the wrong game jam? This game is incredibly polished and is something I'd expect in a 48 hours gamejam (consecutive).

The creativity is on point. It's like the Legend of Zelda Gust Bellows learned from the Cuccos how to take down protagonists. Was fun but it needs a health gauge or something to let you know how many hits you have left.
I probably should've pointed it out in the game, but the white squares on the player actually represented your health. Then again that'd be hard to see with all of the splashing on the screen.
The way you used the assets, is small yet very creative. It definitely looks like a fully fledged simple game. I think you nailed almost everything!
It's a whole playable game! With sound and music and everything! Holy crap! You're really efficient with your time.
It feels like the scoping on this was just about perfect. If I had any complaints it's that there doesn't seem to be a ton of counterplay against the bottles the player can engage in, but that's asking kind of a lot for a 3 hour project.
