Nice, another entry with pathfinding. I like the attack effects, pretty juicy. I like the idea you were shooting for, its too bad you weren't able to get what you wanted in the time window.
I do think there should be more than 1 hitpoint for the player/door.

What an ambitious game. The fact that you had time to add neat little touches like screen shake, particle systems and a good camera system really surprised me. Good job. Game was a bit buggy and a little confusing but a job well done under 3hrs!

I loved the general gameplay, the slash was a really nice effect. the fact you can't have anyone reach the end made it hard to feel like you're progressing. Also I couldn't place spike traps for some reason.

The sword slash, is very cool, very satisfying to see it hit enemies. I sort of had the same idea, but in a 2d sidescrolling platformer style, where you can place traps (in my case swords) to deal damage to the enemies. For a 3 hour game, pretty ambitious!

I couldn't get the spikes/pistons to actually place. I definitely had enough money for them, and they'd show up on my cursor but clicking or pressing the button again didn't put them down. Cool idea! You're definitely cementing yourself as the tower defense guy in my head, lol.

Respect for the ambition on this one, and the actual combat was surprisingly solid. Some knockback would have added a ton of strategy to the combat element - choosing whether to try and slow down certain mobs with knockback or DPS down weak mobs, or whatever. I'll give your updated version a try after I rate all the other submissions.

Well done!
