i like the movement a lot, but maybe you shouldn't be allowed to teleport into solid ground. i also think the art could use some work

This is a nice game! The mechanics are clever, I like that you replaced what might normally be a jump with a rolling up hills mechanic, which makes you learn a unique style of moving.

I wasn't too big a fan of the tongue mechanic, there's definately a lot of interesting ideas there, but I don't feel like any of those ideas were as satisfying to me as the rolling hills mechanic.

But yee, a good challenge!

this was clearly done by a beginner or someone who can't afford a decent engine, all i can say is keep trying and studying programming, and one day you can make a good game i'm sure of that. (:

yeah im a beginner, and im gonna keep going. but godot is a fine game engine. thats not the reason my game is bad

Developer(+1)

also i actually own a permanent license to gamemaker: studio 2, so affording a  decent engine is not a problem, i just prefer godot

I'm really appalled by the graphics, starting from the solid green ground to the very unfitting photographic background. This game's lucky there's no rating for overall quality because it'd get a 1 star.

okay but like have you even completed your game?

Submitted(+1)

Yes.

Are you asking that question because you got stuck at the tutorial?

I can do so much by giving basic instructions to players, but then if they still can't understand how the game works, then I really don't know what to tell you.

welp i think the point is to make it so most people understand those basic instructions, like honestly, no body on the live stream finished your game. yeah i get elegant game design and all but seriously thats useless when nobody understands it. although the game you made is very fun when it is understood, good job.

Honestly a fun but hard time. I'm messing around speedrunning and having tons of fun! (I might also be biased as i helped make the sprite but like uhhhhh)
