TITLE: And don't forget to floss...
CREDITS: Jakob Ferenius
ASSETS: All assets were created by Jakob except for most of the sounds, which were sourced online and edited - the exception being the flossing and plaque removal sounds, which were created from scratch. The game was made in Twine (Harlowe format) with lots of custom javaScript and CSS.
SHORT DESCRIPTION: A short (5-7 min) narrative game about the pressures we put on ourselves and the well-meaning, but sometimes harmful, things we hear from others. Help Jackie cope with her self-judgement and guide her through an increasingly stressful and uncomfortable dentist visit. The game is a visual novel with meaningful choices and a creepy and uncomfortable art style and atmosphere.
INSTRUCTIONS: Mouse. Singleplayer. No previous onboarding is required. Playable in the browser. Make sure to play with sound!
