interesting concept. I think it fits the theme really well, since if you get the rotating symbol it restarts the level. I kinda wish you were given more guesses in the guess mode, I really couldn't get past the spirals and really it's all luck based, rather than strategy. And it's even more luck based in refresh mode, since you're not given any indicator (that I found), that you're near the X (think like minesweeper). 

With a little polish to the gameplay, this could make a cool mobile game, so good work!
