Nice game I like the concept, very challenging! Sometimes I had hard time finding the rockets. So maybe making the rockets more distinctive would help to identify the rockets from all of the other stuff flying around. Also, my high score was 63580 :)

Hi there, Im glad you like the game concept and the challenge. Finding the rockets can be improved by moving around and looking for the fire they leave behind. And thats quite a good score you got there kind person. I guess ill soon no longer be the high score holder anymore.

Looking at the videos posted by others it was a bit broken on mac. Sound effects were missing and the cursor was HUGE! I was also a bit confused about what was going on and what I was supposed to be shooting/protecting, the controls were also a bit clunky. HOWEVER the graphics are beautiful and the background music added a really nice atmosphere. I think its a great core that could be improved on and turned into something special ^^

Developer

Hmm thats a shame to hear about the mac version. I have no way of testing it to be honest. Im glad you figured out with the starting message that you are supposed to "shoot the rockets by hovering over them" tho as the starting message states. Could you explain how the controls were clunky? what do you mean exactly?

So for the controls, it can be hard to explain. Zooming was much faster than orbiting and orbiting had no momentum, so it felt like driving a tank, if that makes sense. Also I found that goal message on my 2nd play, but I missed it the first time!

Developer

I see what you mean with zooming, I wanted to enable people to zoom waaayy out to see the entire galaxy. The momentum is a good one, I could definitely add that to make the movement increase when long pressing.  And good to hear you found the message.

Developer

So far my highscore of 64583 still stands. Can anyone do better?

This was a pretty fun game to play and had pretty good sound design, however  I feel like it may make an improvement if you made it so the player had to actually click the rockets to destroy them, but the sound and graphics design make it really fun and addicting. I think this game was pretty good overall.

Developer

Thanks for playing and the feedback, I tried the clicking approach to start with, however it requires so much and so fast finger movement. I wouldnt wanna do that to peoples fingers
