• The game is very easy and straightforward to play. The controls are responsive. However, the game suffers from a lack of variety and interest. The mud puddles are loosely placed all over. The dogs are pretty simple to avoid since they just follow a straight path back and forth. A particular dog placement doesn't pose any threat at all. There's no incentive to collect the eggs. There's no ending since I just got stuck at the end. Try to study game design principles especially on level design. The quality of the art is also inconsistent. The sprites for the dogs look like they were not exported or imported properly and look blurry compared to the rest of the sprites. The color palette doesn't look cohesive. There's a patch of ground with the same color as a tree stump. It may be beneficial to adopt a fixed color palette that works. You can try color palettes from Lospec. Also try to keep the stretch mode to viewport so that the fullscreen mode doesn't look off. The music makes the game have a very serious and melancholic feel to it. Like the world is ending kind of feel. I think the background music sounds nice but it needs to be complemented by the art as well which is unfortunately unfounded in the game. The background music also doesn't loop so if the music reaches the end then the game is just silent. The game has some bugs such as the text when you spin (?) the wheel not disappearing and just remaining there for the rest of the game. The wheels would sometimes give you numbers other than better luck next time but there seems to be no use for them. I would also get stuck when in between the stump and the mud puddle near the end of the level. Despite all this, good job in submitting a game for this game jam! Keep at it! There's a lot more to learn and discover. I'm also a Godot enthusiast myself and I would love to see more games made with that engine and I'm looking forward to what you guys can make in the future.
