Great Game!

PROS:

  • I like the attack mechanic
  • Poor Johnny
  • Great art and music

CONS:

  • I got stuck in the ground once when I spammed the attack

Recommendation:

  • Do something with the EXP (power ups maybe)
  • Other ways to defend or tend to the corn

GREAT GAME!

I can't believe this game was made within 2 days

Fast Paced Game where I have to protect my crops from vermin ssskkkrrrttt

PROS:

  • Great Gameplay
  • Nice Pinoy References
  • Hack and Slash
  • Great art and music

CONS:

  • Player can go outside map
  • Items in the inventory doesn't go to the hot bar immediately (I have to open the inventory to put them in the hot bar, I was confused at the start since I did not know that the items where inside my inventory)
  • Attack is only for the left side of the character
  • Pressing ESC takes you out of the game maybe it can be replaced to be a pause button.
  • Some enemies get stuck
  • When player is on top of the screen, inventory can't be seen fully

Recommendations:

  • Story could be more
  • It seems too easy to gain money and buy items from the shop.
  • Add a feature to see description of items in the shop in game
  • Have a clear indicator where a crop will be planted (I did not exactly get where the plant will be planted)
  • Save system since the game seems to have a long playtime.
  • Add other variables to not make the game repetitive.

I might have forgotten my other points but I recorded my test session for this one.

So just check out my play test video for further reference for improvements. I haven't reached the ending so I'm sure if there is one, but  maybe it's for the other peeps to find out hehe

Me like the game.

On my first try: I got stuck at the last part, where there was a log and mud next to each other, and I was eternally stuck. So I restarted the game.

2nd try: Dog killed me

3rd try: I was able to get the eggs and was met with an eternal abyss where I am trapped and had to contemplate about my eggs.

Pros:

  • Good music and art
  • Very easy mechanics
  • smooth gameplay

Cons:

  • unfinished game (enjoyable still)
  • The music does not repeat
  • There's a tiny pixel in the edge of the dog animation (minor... maybe it was not erased)
  • hidden -20 on first egg pickup
  • stuck on mud and log glitch

Recommendations:

  • add time (for speed runners)
  • can limit the view of the player so that they can get stuck on the maze

Overall a great casual game. I had fun! May the chicken escape from the merciless hounds!!

I like the concept of the game and I hate the goats that kill my planet gggrrrr

PROS:

  • I like the music and art
  • The score is nice

CONS:

  • The music stops after one iteration
  • when playing the game again the score does not reset
  • Score doesn't show when game ends
  • The score does not reset when playing a new game
  • Had to figure out the controls
  • I'm not  sure what are the purpose of the plants since they just die and I don't have any way of making them leave. I just watched them slowly perish before my eyes :'(

Recommendations:

  • Animals killed does not seem to add up to the score, so maybe add some to the score on kill
  • Make me save my plants ples
  • Make the game harder as time progress
    • add some powerups to balance

BEAT MY 1ST GAME SCORE!!

GREAT ART AND MUSIC!

My RNG: I was able to successfully defend my land after 3 games, lets gooo!!!

This could be good mobile game where I just play while doing nothing and have some glory, like a fidget game or something.

I also found a trick to win faster hehe

Minor bug I saw: When pressing spacebar to play again it seems to also invoke the VFX and SFX of damage being dealt according to the RNG.

Recommendations:

  • Maybe add an instruction to press spacebar to reveal your RNG (I fidgeted a little bit to see that I was supposed to press spacebar)
  • History of matches (optional)
  • Point system (optional)
  • Cosmetics (optional)

Note: I played the unfinished version. I was left clicking using the tools and stuff but nothing happens so I assumed that it was not playable currently.

I see the potential of the game but it is currently unfinished and unplayable so I will just leave my recommendations:

  • Add a timer (I was not aware that it was timed)
  • Maybe add instructions in the game (How to use the tools and stuff)
  • add some music as well
  • add indicator which tool is currently being used
  • add minus points when using wrong tools on a given land (optional) **or maybe some cool easter eggs or interactions

I look forward to the finished product :D

I like the concept of the game, at my first test I was expecting a score at the end but it did not show.

PROS:

  • Cute minigame to play with friends
  • The spinning mechanic was a game changer for me all throughout my gameplay
  • Engaging Gameplay
  • Cute Carrot

CONS:

  • No score at the end :(
  • I was not able to look at my final land, since it just diplays "END"

Recommendations:

  • Maybe add music
  • add hotkeys to quickly change tools
  • Display a visual change that the round has ended
  • At first I thought the condition was hidden but I only saw the information at the img attached, maybe add the instructions to the game as well.

Overall great game, I just really want the scoreboard huhuhu

Though unfinished, here are my comments

PROS:

  • I like the art style and music
  • Engaging Gameplay
  • Seems to have mysterious lore

CONS:

  • I am not sure what are the seed and water is for
  • when pressing seed and water simultaneously only one effect happens.
  • Destroying the crows seems to not have any effect on the score
  • Attack 2 is something that I don't use since I can just use attack 1 for all the enemies
  • Unfinished control of audio (?)
  • Rolls are not working

Recommendations:

  • A progress bar would be nice on the level to see where we are at
  • Attacks 1 and 2 could have different damage dealt and be used on specific times depending on the enemy being encountered.
  • Maybe an initial cut-scene explaining the lore could be nice

I see great potential for the game that was made under 2 days! To more games from you guys!
