For some reason, the mac version is not running on my computer :( I'll try later to run the windows version.

Developer(+1)

Ah I haven't tested the Mac or Linux builds as they are direct ports so there is probably an issue with them. The windows version should work fine =)

Developer(+1)

Okay I figured out what happened, because I built and compressed the version on windows Unity Editor the compression removes the read permissions for the application file. I have added some instructions to return the read permissions. Sorry for the inconvenience!

I've tested again here but the Mac build still does not work. If you meant the changes only for the windows build, then I'm sorry, I still need to test it there.

Developer

O ☹ I'm sorry about that. Did you update the permissions on the build manually? I didn't update either build I just added the permissions instructions. I need a Mac to make the build seemless which I unfortunately don't have atm :(

Sorry about this!

Hello everyone,

I attempted to upload a Mac and Linux version of the game since the forum thread here said that was fine to do.

However, when trying to upload them, itch.io actually deleted the zip file I had for the windows version which was submitted on time (8 hours and 8 minutes before the deadline on December 1st). My apologies for this.

Apparently when using the "upload files" button, you need to upload all files at once or else itch.io will overwrite them. I was not aware of this, the uploaded windows zip is the exact same game as before, and the Mac and Linux versions are copies for the respective operating system.

EDIT: This happened again when trying to upload a web build because people said it was easier to play that way (removed because had issues with resolution). Apparently you cannot have 2 files with the same name in this case the issue was the "Moon Blob.zip" name.

EDIT 2: Some people were saying the camera was making it impossible to play the game =( So I uploaded a version with an adjustable camera "Moon Blob - (Better Camera).zip". The original game is still up as Moon Blob.zip

Cool!  I detect some Mario Galaxy influence? :)  UI is beautifully done.  Only thing I noticed is the mouse sensitivity seemed considerably too sensitive to me.  Might be hardware variations, might be a non-issue w/ a gaming mouse, but I felt I could have used a slow rotate instead of a fast rotate.  Good job!

Developer

Yes definitely too inspiration from Galaxy! Started a bit late so didn't have time to make some of those settings so lesson learned! Will play your game first thing tomorrow
