Hey there fellow game jam enthusiasts,

I hope you're all as excited as I am about the upcoming game jam on! While I may have 9 years of experience in web development, I'm taking a bold step into the world of game development, and I'd love to find a team that's willing to take a chance on me.

Here's a bit about me:

  • I'm a Senior Developer with a strong background in TypeScript, multiple JavaScript frameworks, and some Python.
  • Recently, I've been immersing myself in C# and Unity as my first foray into game development.
  • I'm also enthusiastic about learning C++ and Unreal Engine as well.
  • I've even built my own PC to support this new journey.

Even though I'm new to game development, I'm a fast learner, highly motivated, and bring a fresh perspective from the web development world. I believe that my experience in front-end and back-end development can be valuable assets to a game development team.

What I'm looking for:

  • A team with more experienced developers who are open to mentoring and working together on this game jam project.
  • People who are passionate about making games and having fun during the process.
  • Patience and a sense of adventure as we embark on this creative journey together.

If you're interested in teaming up or have any questions, please feel free to reach out. Let's create something awesome together! I'm looking forward to the opportunity to learn and grow with a talented group of individuals. I'm based in the Pacific Time Zone, so if that aligns with your schedule, even better!

Feel free to message me here or reach out via Discord [mars#9071]. Can't wait to connect with you all and make this game jam an unforgettable experience!

Thanks for reading, and let's make some magic happen!

Best regards,

Mariano
