Game description
You play as an unknown person who wakes up in the middle of a mysterious forest. With no memory of how they got there, the only thing they know is that they must complete a mission that is far more important than anything else. Failure to succeed will mean losing everything. Along the way, they encounter strange people, unfamiliar places, and enigmatic creatures that offer guidance— but why?

Theme interpretation
I love telling stories, so I decided to create a unique top-down 2D game. This is just the beginning, and my goal is to eventually develop a brand-new 3D RPG. I want to bring players into an exciting story with fun puzzles and a special visual style. The art is simple right now, using basic shapes, but it will become more detailed and polished as the game grows.

Thanks a lot for your game, the story is really cool, i hope you can continue developing the game and expand on your idea.  I saw in your trailer there is supposed to be text, however when i played, the box at the bottom was always empty, letting you know, just in case ;)  Regarding your music, i really enjoyed your melodies and i stuck around listening to them after i finished the game !

Thank you so much for your kind words and for playing my game. I'm glad you enjoyed the story and the music—it means a lot to me.

I appreciate you pointing out the issue with the text box in the game. I'll look into it right away and make sure it's fixed in the next update. Your feedback helps me improve, and I’m excited to continue expanding on the idea to make the game even better.

Thank you again for your support, and I hope you’ll check out future updates as they come.

It's an interesting intro, but it seemed to freeze on the text that teaches you about combat unfortuneately.

Developer

Thank you for playing my game! I'm sorry the combat tutorial froze. I'll look into it and fix it as soon as possible. Can I know if you found the game concept interesting? Your personal feedback would mean a lot to me and help improve the game further!

I did find it intriguing. Not exactly sure what's going on, but the grand fairy tale tone of the writing has me curious about the nature of the few people? Things?  that you meet off the bat. I dunno what they are, but I'm interested in finding out. I'd also be interested in seeing what an art pass could add to the vibes since the music and soundscape had a good ambience and atmosphere.

Developer

Thank you so much for your feedback! That’s exactly what I aimed to create: a captivating atmosphere with an intriguing story and unique characters. As a huge RPG fan, I love exploring unexpected worlds and narratives, and I’m glad to hear that the grand fairy tale tone resonated with you.

I’ve fixed the game, as there was a button issue. Please download it again and give it another try! I’m excited to hear your thoughts on the updated version!

I like that combat. It's a little fiddly, but a bit of refinement on the enemy logic should help tune that. The basic concept of luring your enemy into traps is pretty fun though.
