Love the take on the theme. Feels like deck building games are so hot right now too. Was fun! I think the discard step should be a little more explicit or make the action more deliberate by the player. Several times I forgot I had to discard and ended up discarding a good card I was trying to play instead. After doing that a few times it sunk in tho lol. No real feedback on the mechanics, felt simple but well designed. Difficulty was a little easy though.
I skipped the instructions, so it took me a minute to figure it out :S, but it was super fun to play. I agree with the comments below, adding special powers would make this even cooler.
Cool game that fits the theme well. This could have potential to be adapted to asynchronous multiplayer (similar to something like SuperAutoPets), perhaps with unique monster abilities as others have suggested.
A really great take on the theme. I don't think we've hard a card game with the previous jams, so that was cool to see as well. It would be cool to see this expanded in the future with special powers like makra mentioned.
cute art & music, I'm not big into card games but this one was a big interesting as I felt, as I anticipated the if I mix and match different parts to build a monster it could have certain unique abilities like rpg :D
i noticed a small bug where the mouse cursor gets layered under the on screen text
Cool lil intro, v good base game, im a sucker for card games in video games, would be cool to see what would happen if you had more time to give different body parts special abilities or somethin
