fun game,  innovative mechanic, love the amazon reference haha.. i got stuck at this level tho :D

what in the 5D chess did I just witness :oo

cute art & music, I'm not big into card games but this one was a big interesting as I felt, as I anticipated the if I mix and match different parts to build a monster it could have certain unique abilities like rpg :D

i noticed a small bug where the mouse cursor gets layered under the on screen text

We heard your feedback & fixed a lot of things based on that, here is the post jam version of Motel Chamunda - https://makra.itch.io/motel-chamunda :D

We added an extra jumpscare too, but you gotta work a little to find it ;)

Motel Chamunda

The team wants to work on a ps1 styled indie game, your feedback would mean a lot to us along the way!

we're on our way!!

this review will always have a special place in our heart :) its as deep and meaningful for us as your game, we discussed about it yesterday and it's feedback like like these that make us want to keep coming back to jams, we promise to fix a lot of issues post jam and let you have your full sized snicker bar (and perhaps a much bigger bar ;))

we're grateful for you playing this game, means a lot to us  🛐

thankyou so much for playing, we'd more on these issues post jam and fix them :)

thanks for playing :D

we're deciding to work in this game post jam and fix a lot of these issues (:

thanks :D

atb! lmk if you have a full release for the game eventually :D

done :D

Fun game!! Pro tip: Just choose Bacon Lettuce Tomat in your menu ;)

done :D

Def one of those games that needs a lot more attention.. this is so good.. the music and esp the mechanics were so satisfying.. there was definitely a difficulty curve to the game.. wish there were fewer enemies in the first few nights

I reached 12 days in my highscore run

Damn, never expected my game to end like this!! I was just thinking after a point in time that the game is starting to get repetitive and then the storm struck me.. kudos for you to pull this off! I feel its difficult to make this possible, and I feel yours was a great attempt at it. The music had a very good loop and it didn't feel repetitive at any point in time.

I noticed some issues tho:
- At one time I got the options before the situation
- Scrolling speed was slow
- Couldn't wrap my head around the fact that nobody was fatally injured, but I'm still called the killer, is there a deeper meaning to it that I'm missing?

Overall a solid entry!

Damn that's a big ass level for a jam with so much atmosphere packed into it!! Amazing job on pulling that off!! The audio design was on point too! Loved that it just said "Ded" upon dying haha

That fresnel shader on the guy floating seemed familiar to me haha, also I could move around while pausing the game, might need to fix that

you debugged it correctly haha, we will work post jam to fix the controller :D tysm for playing, onto your game next!

we'll be working to fix the controller post jam :) ty for playing

done :D

done :D

the music along with the mood gave me major 'ape out' vibes!! the polish was really good, the art style and the mechanics in general felt very satisfying :D

done :D

took a few dives haha.. visuals are killer, that underwater vibe - so intense!!  the devs def nailed the mood with this one.. top marks! bubble & jellyfish mechanics are very satisfying :D def worth checking out for someone into atmospheric games :))

ty.. just played.. its beautiful.. the gif was the best part of the game :D

Do you get black bars on both sides? :(

tysm :)

took a few runs to beat but loved every sec... graphics are sick, especially that storm - got me sweating!! puzzles def are on the tougher side but loved them for the most part..  I could spot a few glitches here and there but nothing major.. solid entry :D

Got ripped, mashing keyboard made my code work, learned arithmetics all over again and yeah got expelled a gazillion times.. 10/10 would get expelled again! Kudos, this is a fun entry :D

Gonna rate 3 more and call it a day :)

Also if you like ps1 styled horror games and have some 10 minutes to spare, check out ours :)  Based on the feedback we got till now, thinking of working with ma bois on this post jam and releasing our first indie title :D If you end up playing it please let us know your feedback as it would help a lot in the eventual development of the game and once we finish developing it we'll send a personal copy to you!

that's a great design :D it works!

I remember playing Prenomition last weekend, it didn't make sense to me when I started but eventually a lot of things fell into place except for the vase xD

lmk what you think of our game :) you can say we experimented with PS1 styled graphics and atmosphere with this one

Worked on a ps1 styled indian themed horror for the jam with some old gamedev homies :D

this is so relatable haha, but why do I always get the breakup end :(( is there a good end? or is the breakup the good end? xD

Our game was similar in implementing a task based system, but yours executed it much better imo!! This indeed gave me flashbacks from my office on a friday eve xD But a lot of content with great polish to it.. kudos!

The goat!! This game is very unique and fun, top marks for both :D The first time I played the music wasn't a part that I had to fix and it played till the end and man what a symphony.. was that a Shepard tone?? Nevertheless, second time I knew what I had to do ;)

One of the most innovative games from the jam! The puzzles could be on the harder side but I feel there was a lot of though put into the way levels were drafted as they made us understand the game easily. Great polish as well, one of my faves from the jam this year!

Idk why but I kept getting stuck here :(

hope you get a chance to play the fixed game ;) thanks for sharing!

tysm for playing and yeah we'll post a fix to the collider issue post jam :D
