We heard your feedback & fixed a lot of things based on that, here is the post jam version of Motel Chamunda - https://makra.itch.io/motel-chamunda :D
We added an extra jumpscare too, but you gotta work a little to find it ;)
The team wants to work on a ps1 styled indie game, your feedback would mean a lot to us along the way!
this review will always have a special place in our heart :) its as deep and meaningful for us as your game, we discussed about it yesterday and it's feedback like like these that make us want to keep coming back to jams, we promise to fix a lot of issues post jam and let you have your full sized snicker bar (and perhaps a much bigger bar ;))
we're grateful for you playing this game, means a lot to us 🛐
Damn, never expected my game to end like this!! I was just thinking after a point in time that the game is starting to get repetitive and then the storm struck me.. kudos for you to pull this off! I feel its difficult to make this possible, and I feel yours was a great attempt at it. The music had a very good loop and it didn't feel repetitive at any point in time.
I noticed some issues tho:
- At one time I got the options before the situation
- Scrolling speed was slow
- Couldn't wrap my head around the fact that nobody was fatally injured, but I'm still called the killer, is there a deeper meaning to it that I'm missing?
Overall a solid entry!
Damn that's a big ass level for a jam with so much atmosphere packed into it!! Amazing job on pulling that off!! The audio design was on point too! Loved that it just said "Ded" upon dying haha
That fresnel shader on the guy floating seemed familiar to me haha, also I could move around while pausing the game, might need to fix that
Also if you like ps1 styled horror games and have some 10 minutes to spare, check out ours :) Based on the feedback we got till now, thinking of working with ma bois on this post jam and releasing our first indie title :D If you end up playing it please let us know your feedback as it would help a lot in the eventual development of the game and once we finish developing it we'll send a personal copy to you!

I remember playing Prenomition last weekend, it didn't make sense to me when I started but eventually a lot of things fell into place except for the vase xD
lmk what you think of our game :) you can say we experimented with PS1 styled graphics and atmosphere with this one

One of the most innovative games from the jam! The puzzles could be on the harder side but I feel there was a lot of though put into the way levels were drafted as they made us understand the game easily. Great polish as well, one of my faves from the jam this year!
Idk why but I kept getting stuck here :(
