I understand this is an incomplete submission, but I had a look anyway.
I can see what you were going for with a swarm of alien insects streaming towards you while you try to fight back and survive for as long as possible.
If you plan to continue working on this, I think one way to improve the shooting mechanic would be to have a leading target zone as the bullets don't aim at the insect until you click on the insect. As a result, by the time the bullets get to where the insect was, the insect has moved past their target position.
I hope you carry on with it.
