GameJam Judging BS

Didnt create a game for this jam, but after playing through them and seeing the votes on the games that were the best, it seems that the judging criteria was complete BS.  None of the votes that members/players submitted were taken into account?  The Game that was 16th by the crowd became the judges number 1/winner.... meanwhile the number one by player votes was given an "Honorable Mention"...... Feels like whose line is it anyway, where everything's made up and the points don't matter. Really feel like the judging was biased or didnt take any account as to what fans/players voted on and created.

Yeah.... gunna have to agree with this.......

It is inappropriate to say that Push Pin Tale has not won. We are giving $20 to each category winner (based on public voting). Given that PPT is winner of all 5 categories, it is winning an amount of $100. Not lesser than the 1st prize. :)

More than the matter of biasedness it is a matter of titles. We would be more than happy to give PPT another title of "Public Winner" if everybody agrees.

It's been few days. There is no follow-up from the host for prizes.

We have asked winners to write their email ids in the comment section of the game. We will take follow up for the prizes through emails.

Ratings might be misleading because not all games are rated by all the participants. If you play A Year's Tale, you immediately won't get how amazing the game is, but when you play it completely you'll get to know why :) I played it after the rating period and it's really amazing game.

I agree with Harsh. There was a clear difference in the number of ratings in all games. A game could get to the 1st place with only one 5-star rating.
