Takes me back! Loved how the wee spacedudes on the right would disappear once you were hit and you had to collect them again! Would love to see a more in depth game.

Nice retro game, music fitted the game well.  Liked the fish enemy aesthetics.
Shame you didn't have enough time left to include the theme.

Great art and sound. A few more sound effects for the powerups would've been great.

Glad to hear that you enjoyed the game! By the time I had completed it, it was already 1am, and I felt that doing any further development would be a violation of my personal goal to create a game in just four days.

The laser guide is a nice idea. The fish as enemies and the AA batteries gave it an 80s feel that I can get behind. Didn't really fit the theme though.

I understand your point. My priority was to finish the game within the limited time frame, which is why I chose to focus on the gameplay mechanics rather than incorporating the theme. Including the theme would have made the game more challenging, but I felt it would have compromised the overall experience for the player.

How does this fit the theme exactly?

Developer
