I can't Fullscreen the game. How am I supposed to appreciate the passing of time fully like this :( Edit: press and hold Alt and Space at same time.

I am pretty sure this system is alright but just to be sure is it okay my team base our game on the Nintendo entertainment system. it was released in japan in July 15, 1983 as the famicon then released as the NES in the UK  and US in 1986 if the is an issue with us saying we are doing the NES we can just base it on Famicon even tho it won't make any difference gameplay or graphically or audio

I liked the audio and art. I would suggest if your were to make an update that Kane make a bool to check if one of their popups are on screen before calling another one. <

If you get stuck on the last level make this and hold D ez win. I left the game wanting more thank you for making this.

If your using unity i am more than happy to give you a script or two to make it easy <3

Glad to hear that you enjoyed the game! By the time I had completed it, it was already 1am, and I felt that doing any further development would be a violation of my personal goal to create a game in just four days.

I understand your point. My priority was to finish the game within the limited time frame, which is why I chose to focus on the gameplay mechanics rather than incorporating the theme. Including the theme would have made the game more challenging, but I felt it would have compromised the overall experience for the player.

I could not figure out what i was meant to do and the controls were confusing but i most definitely enjoyed watching really old films

Very easy to understand. more of an integrative story than a game but i enjoyed my stay regardless

The core gameplay was fun and the narrator was confusing enough i did not know if they was lying or not so this fit the theme very well

I would have appreciated some sensitivity controls. but for the short time i played it, it was enjoyable.

I was very confused if it wasn't for the other comment i would have never known i could drag objects with my mouse

it doesn't I just focused on getting it finished since I joined the jam half way through

The did you create question did not show up for me so to clarify me and alekape made everything in this game.

sorry to use you comment like this but something has happened to my discord account and I can't login. can you contact each of the KITI Jammers (People in the KITI Jammers server with the KITI Jammer role) and gather their emails and yours so I can invite them to a element space I have set up for us. To keep it private email it to me at my email (kitiexecutiveoffices@gmail.com). At the very least I would like to get you and Simon in the element space.

The GOAT I have been looking for ages for something that covers just a portion of the capability of this shader.

Thank you for playing 🥰 I enjoyed your video ❤ if you ever play it again the is a secret area with unlimited SMG's

I will be sure to personally improve upon the  sliders in the menus of our future projects. You can run with sprint and you can get a speed boost from wall running if that helps 🥰

Thank you very much for your valuable feedback! I'm glad to hear that despite some issues, you were still able to enjoy the atmosphere of our game. Some of the menu items were disabled due to time constraints, as I was not able to finish the code in time. The AI programmer plans to remaster it in the future, as they had to make a lot of sacrifices to get it ready for the jam. Half of the code was beautifully written, while the other half was metaphorically duct taped together. However, I'm hoping that the rest of the team is as interested as I am in continuing this IP for a long-term project.

If you're curious, there is a hidden room that grants you unlimited SMGs (those giant guns!). We have some puzzle concepts already in the works, and even a custom numerical system that we hope to use in future puzzles if we continue development. Thank you again for your feedback, and much love from the KITI Jammers!

Mantis is not fixing that wall

Myyra for president

This would have been a banger of a flash website

Check the public game page for the controls and lore and credits <3

Well I wish you luck and I hope to see your team again in another jam. :) Me and a few members of my team are going to give the N64 game jam(https://itch.io/jam/spring-n64-style-graphics-jam-2) a go. I will be trying to learn rigging and animation before the jam. At this rate I will have every role listed for me in future credits. :D

Your suggestion to use visuals to guide the player on what they can interact with is a great one. We'll definitely keep that in mind as we continue to develop and improve our games.

On a separate note, we've had some difficulty with programmers leaving the project, which may have affected the overall quality of the game. We're taking steps to address this issue and ensure that our team is more stable moving forward.

I really enjoyed playing your game! Next time, I was thinking it would be fun if my team and I tried something endless, like your game. What do you think?

Our team faced a significant challenge at the start of the project. We had big plans for an advanced gameplay experience, but nearly all our dedicated programmers and 3D artists left on the first day, leaving only one programmer and a beginner artist. For over a week, I had to carry the weight of programming and creating most of the graphics. We hit a low point, but we refused to give up.

That's when AleKape introduced us to Baribob, who immediately took charge of the gameplay and menu system. It was a game-changer. With renewed hope and determination, we worked tirelessly to deliver a finished project in time for submissions.

Our team's resilience and spirit in the face of adversity are what inspire me the most. We came together, worked hard, and never gave up. I'm proud of what we accomplished and excited to see what our talented team members will create next.

The issues with collisions are know and was to do with how our player controller handled slopes as I wanted to solve the issue with players been able to jump up harsh slopes but this was never an issue in our game and we wanted to make our submission in time. over half of the programmers left mid way into the project so a lot of ideas were scraped and the actual puzzle gameplay was made in about 2 days by one person who really saved the project from failing.

Thank you for the tip. It was my first time ever making a player controller from scratch. I do plan on remaking the player controller for our next game so your advice will definitely help, Thx. :)

In this thrilling game, you take on the role of a dead detective who's been transported back to the 1950s, reliving your past and solving the murders you were never able to in life. But there's a catch: your soul has been deemed unworthy of both heaven and hell, leaving you trapped in the in-between realm known as Limbo. Now, in order to escape, you must not only crack the case, but also unintentionally alter the past to prevent the murders from ever happening in the first place. Can you navigate this shadowy world and find your way out of Limbo?

Controls:

  • Escape: Pause menu
  • W, A, S, D: Movement
  • Left mouse: Interact
  • Right mouse: Zoom

Behind the scenes: This was the first game jam project for most of our team, and we managed to complete it in just 2 weeks. Although Gagarin created an enemy ghost, it didn't make it into the final game. Baribob was responsible for designing and creating all the puzzles. As the project leader with no prior experience, I (Kiti) am proud of my team's progress and contribution to the project. We're excited to continue making more games in the future and share our love for the gaming community.

Kiti.Dev#1999 i have a decent sized team you might enjoy working with
