I love the theme and idea of Date Night. You mentioned before that you wanted it to feel like a cozy night in, which you have definitely succeeded. It tastes like a slice of life. Your choice of keeping the romantic interest unisex is smart, to reach a wider target audience. I tested both short & long versions, with different options. I was surprised that they ended together in each version.
You definitely have a knack for writing. Keep up the good work!

Low-code?
I selected Twine as I'm not a developer and thought the coding would be very limited. It turned out that the creative writing side of making this game only accounted for a small portion of the time I worked on it, and most of it was the coding/formatting required by Twine. I would still describe the game as Low Code by the standards of most games, but I did need to learn a lot for it (which was great)!

Theme
I wanted to use the theme in a narrative way, but also limit the scope of the game as much as possible. I decided to set the game mostly indoors on the last day of winter (that time of year when you really feel like winter should be done by now). The game is in part about sheltering from the cold, and finding some magic amidst the bleakest time of year.
