The game has a lot of good execution, and i like the dialogue and the telescope. The sound effects are also good, and a soundtrack would make it better.

But the tileset is VERY hard on the eyes. I can't imagine what someone with a visual disability like colour blindness would feel at seeing it. I suggest making the tiles have a simpler look since the overly noisy texture doesn't fit a tileset that covers every block from afar.

Second, i think the movement speed in the topdown section is slow compared with how big the map is. Takes a long while to get from one location to another.

Finally, the level where you get the blue item is really hard that i ended up giving up on it before i lost my mind. Its most pressing issue is that the moving spikes can appear in the place where you drop into bottom part of the level with no way of knowing it's there. I died so many times to a moving spike that I had no way of knowing was there in the drop off.
