- While the execution is pretty buggy, and the rules aren't super clear, I think the idea is promising. The character design is super cute too! Something to improve on is the contrast issues which make the text and play-area hard to see on a real GBA.
- I really like your cute graphics and I do enjoy a good game of minesweeper. I'm not entirely sure that this is right, but I think the odd shapes of the areas made it harder as I had to make more guesses rather than using logic to figure out where the mines were.
- Cute minesweeper game, I like the character sprites. Maybe it would have been better to start the stage with some cells flagged, since right now beating a stage is too luck based.
- It shouldn't be possible to lose in the first move, the player can't really do anything about losing there.
- Noticed the wrong number in the grid, not entirely sure where the battle comes in, but not a bad minesweeper
Jam ROM submission
Ok - understood! I attached the GBA ROM file as "MYGAMENAME_jam.gba".

I love minesweeper games, now I can play on my own GBA
Thanks very much :)
thanks very much 😊
I'm in love with the graphics! The puzzle itself seems somewhay harder than a normal minesweeper because there is not a defined "boundary" you can follow while discovering bombs so most of the time you have to blind guess where a free tile could be, but the concept is awesome! Nice work!
Thank you very much :)
I did in fact work on the graphics a little bit (pictured below) but the version that I had to upload was before I made the change to the newer background.
Also with the boundary I initially wanted to have all of the tiles covered and for them to be "fill opened" like in the original minesweeper but after about a week of trying to get that to work I sadly couldn't. I might have another shot at it though at some point. In a few months I might come back to this project and try again as I love what I've done with it so far :)
I see! Good luck! It's a game that's worth continuing to work on!
