this is so great! wonderful, cheeky writing haha can't believe you just made this all in 10 days!

There's so much here that's so promising, but ... building the entire combat system around the diamond, the one Castlevania weapon that no one ever bothers to use because it's so annoying, was ... probably a mistake.

The gameplay started out promising, until it began throwing the infantile jumpscares at me (which, incidentally, flash rapidly enough that they could set off photosensitive migraines). None of these things are warned about on the game page. There's also a long text crawl at the beginning, but no in-game explanation of the bizarre control scheme. Also, the game has to be quit manually.
