Well designed game, fun to control and looks quite authentic as a game boy title. Only main crticism is that some of the text looks a bit blurry.
Thanks! Yeah I tried to fix that because the actual asset is really clear, but when scaled down for GB resolution it became super blurry. Not sure why but then again I am still fairly new to game development and game jams so hopefully I will figure it out for future games! Thanks for giving it a try!
A nice little side-scroller. I loved the music, great job! Be careful with the anti-aliasing on some of the text, it increases the colours above 4 unfortunately. I don't use unity but it might be worth looking into how to disable this so you can stay as authentically Gameboy as possible. Well done on the game, and congrats on completing an entry for the jam!
Yeah I tried to fix the text issue, but for some reason when scaled down, it would become blurry despite all the usual settings to make sure that you have a clear image (point filter, etc...). Thanks for giving my game a go!
