Unique idea and very fun to play, with simple but effective visuals. Despite itch.io giving a warning saying this wasn't made for mobile, it worked perfectly on my phone and was an enjoyable way to spend some time

Thank you! Just wondering, what specifically did you find difficult about the controls, was it just the keybindings or was it something else? Just interested because I used an almost identical control scheme in a previous game jam and no one mentioned anything about them back then, but obviously a lot of people this time seem to have found them challenging

Thank you for the feedback. Just wondering, are the controls difficult for you because of your keyboard layout (and if so, what layout do you use?) or is it because jump isn't bound to the up key?

Out of curiosity, what is your luck exact keyboard layout?

Visuals are really really strong, and gameplay is fun and engaging

Really unique and fun game, presentation is top-notch and has tons of charm. Hope you continue this into a full game after the jam

Wow. Whilst the idea wasnt completely original, I'm yet to see anyone else use multiple dice in this style, and the presentation and overall quality was absolutely outstanding. Incredibly impressive you managed to make this within the time limit, very polished and the fact it included cutscenes and a plot was really surprising and refreshing. Well Done!

Thank you! I was hoping it would be a risk/reward situation, where players could choose exactly how much randomness they wanted to experience, rather than forcing RNG-based mechanics on everyone. So avoiding all enemies (especially after getting an early health boost) is definitely a valid way to play

Fun arcade-like game, and fits the jam theme well

Interesting idea, and the payer's controls were fun to mess around with

Interesting idea, the player's controls would probably be better if they were less floaty, its quite easy to just jump halfway across the level

Interesting concept, shame its so short

Very fun puzzle game, perhaps a bit too difficult too quickly, but was enjoyable trying to solve the puzzles.

Nice graphics, and decent gameplay. Biggest downside is the music, bit too repetitve and loud for my liking

Controls took a bit of time for me to understand, but quite fun once i got the hang of it and a very unique idea

Very cool idea, shame its so short but that's the fun of game jams

Fun game, a bit chaotic at times but that definitely seems to be by design. Love the art and presentation as a whole, really creative

Fun but simple game, I liked the idea of having to roll all the avaible dice simultaneously, so you had to decide between keeping your existing numbers or hoping it'll improve on the next roll. Movement controls seemed to have a bit of a delay which isnt ideal, but still a fun experience

Absolutely brilliant game, really fun to play and feels incredibly polished. Genuinely have no criticisms whatsoever, amazing that you made this in such a short time

Very simple but very fun, weirdly enjoyable for such an easy to understand concept. Well done!

Just tried it again, it booted this time but after clicking play it had the same error

Ryzen 9 4900HS, RTX 2060 Max-Q

So in theory, it should easily be able to run this, which makes it even more confusing

Tried playing it, but got the following error

"Out of video memory trying to allocate a rendering resource. Mak sure your video card has the minimum required memory, try lowering the resolution and/or closing other applications that are running. Exiting..."

I've had no issues with other games so far, so not sure why this is happening

Visually nice, but obviously with no real gameplay there's not much else i can say about it

Fun game, controls are a bit strange but I got used to them quickly

Very fun gameplay, and simple but effective graphics. Great game!

Apologies for the confusion, the game is not meant to have any audio. I originally planned on having sounds and music, so imported my audio from a previous project ("I Need More Time", my GBJam submission last year) for testing purposes but forgot to remove the files despite removing all code relating to audio due to time constraints

Sorry about the keybinding issues, as said in my reply to ASecondGuy I did originally plan on implementing different controls but ran out of time and completely forgot that different keyboard layouts wouldnt work with the default

I appreciate the feedback, thank you!

Honestly if you made this into a more polished game in the future I'd 100% play it, definitely has a lot of potential

Really cool idea, and very well executed. Only slight complain is that the left/right bar moves a bit too quickly for me, about 60% of my hits were when i was right next to the hole but just couldnt line it up perfectly. Perhaps an easy mode for players like myself might have helped. Either way, this is definitely one of my favourites so far!

Looks brilliant, but the controls are a bit difficult to handle

This game is visually brilliant and i love the concept, but the controls and level design make it really frustrating at times. Really want to like this one because theres so much that is good about it, but the overabundance of spikes and general trial and error gameplay makes it less enjoyable than I'd hoped, which is a shame considering how good it looks

Sorry, thats a massive oversight from me. I was planning on adding the ability to bind keys, but didnt get around to it because of time contraints. I definitely should've picked an alternative control scheme by default, completely forgot that some keyboard layouts have z and x in awkward positions

Surprisingly addictive game once i figured out the controls, could definitely see this being turned into a more fleshed out project

You need to click further away from the dice to launch it further, I struggled with this too initially

Unique idea, although the mechanics coudlve been explained a bit more, there were times where i wasnt really sure what i was doing

Interesting idea and very unique, but could've done with explaining the controls a bit better

Really fun game, the key being used for attacks is a unique approach that makes the game feel quite different to other platformers in the jam.

Thank you!

Really fun game,  found it very challenging but very rewarding when I actually managed to not die haha. Love the art and music, very good job!

Fun stealth game - I think it's the only stealth game I've seen in this Jam actually. Controls well and looks good, a bit harsh to have an instant game over for getting caught but good game regardless!
