Pretty cool! You could upload some screenshots as they'd be much better than itch's default image :p

I love the 2D sprite on a 3D background, I've never seen that before. It made my eyeballs happy.

SPOILERS AHEAD: When I died and it just said "Fired!" I almost choked laughing. Best game ever.

I woke up.. memory hazy.. all I have is a todo list in my pocket. It being my only possession I follow it's instructions. As I navigate my way to the bottom of some pit I'm supposedly above I look at myself in the mirror. I look fricken sick, look at me with my 2d sprite in a 3d world. I do some sick jumps over bullets, walls and axes and find myself above the prophesied pit. I plunge myself deep within said pit and bask in the fulfillment I feel as I've accomplished my purpose in life. Suddenly I awake back in the throne room where I began my journey. What happened? Did I make a mistake? Was I not the chosen one? Did the pit not enjoy how I tasted? Now I must frantically try and find a new purpose before the timer in my subconscious runs out. FIRED!

I think this can turn out to be something Very cool. I can see where you're going with the art style and it's really cool! I especially love what you've done with the player sprites model! Good Job!
