Wow! The movement was very satisfaying and I had a lot of fun completing the game.

The level design is nice, but I was a little bit lost and some jumps felt like jumping to the void.

The dynamic sfx when walking over different terrains was a nice touch, it added a lot of feel to the movement. Congrats for the result!

By the way, I DEMAND an update to hug the sad guy, please, I need it.

Developer(+1)

For sure, in a future update we will update it with a map for reduce being lost and obviously a hug to the sad guy! Thank you so much for the feedback, glad you like it!

I managed to glitch out of the map by accident when I didn't know where I was going :(

Developer

Oh, that's bad news. Could you tell us where the glitch is so we can fix It, thanks! By the way if you get glitched in the map you can press q to return to the monument.

far left, kept dashing to the left and I was out of bounds

Hey! I used those characters (white and blue sprites) for one of my college games!!^^

It's fun to discover the map with those differents mechanics and it's super chill. I really like it.

By the way, I would add some kind of map to avoid to get lost (in my opinion).

Great job! :D

Yeah! We also think that a map could have helped for not getting lost! We will update it with a map :D Thank you so much for the feedback and trying it out!

Thematically weak.

It is quite linear so "almost" could have just started with all the powerups and it would have been the same game.

I fell near the very end and lost a lot of progress; I couldn't respawn because there was land (far) below me.

I found the movement to be quite fiddly, but decent for a game jam.

But, I really liked it! Exploring was very satisfying! Going for the metroidvania for a gamejam was quite bold and I would say it paid off :).

Also - I found it quite funny, I hope that was the intention :).

One of my favourite entries.

Thanks for your feedback we really appreciate it! We mainly wanted to do a relaxed game to explore this little world.

Hey, I recognise those character sprites! They are super lovely and I think I bought them myself a while ago to try and make a platformer :D

This is such a nice little platformer. Going for a metroidvania in a jam is ballsy and here it works quite well and looks real nice. The movement is very satisfying.

Thanks, we tried so hard to make the movement smooth! Glad to hear that you like it! Thanks for playing it!

The jump dash combo in this feels really satisfying. Although I wasn't good enough to find the final rune :'(

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks for the feedback! We tried hard for making the movement as smooth as possible! Thanks! The Final Rune is hidden in a path where you can go if you unlock the 5 runes :D
