When loading the game, the webbrowser kept telling me that the app is causing the webbrowser to not function properly. I kept clicking on ignore until the game finally loaded, but there were quite a lot of lag issues in the game itself as well.
The graphics, from what i could tell, were decent. I always like it when there are 3d games in this Jams, as they are so rare.
It was a bit weird that the player characters sprite was flat, but the sprites of the other people had some perspective to them. Their sprite should also be aligned to the camera like the player character is.
I wish i could comment on the gameplay, but due to the lag i had to give up. Based on the description it sounded interesting.
Thanks :)
I uploaded downloadable versions but not in time for the jam.
freezes a lot. i didn't hear the music or any sound. the objective was also not clear to me.
The graphics are good, and the game works fine, but there are a couple of glitches
First off, if you click run game, it runs but the mouse is free to move outside of screen area, which makes camera movement extremely sensible, and down right unplayable. you have to click a second time for the mouse to snap into the game, and work properly
I couldnt hear any sounds, Maybe thats a problem of my computer, but if you didnt add any sound effect, I recommend you check out BFXR (https://www.bfxr.net/), its a free sound generator for videogames.
Finally, I dont see how this is related with the theme of duality
Overall, Good Job :D
feel free to check out my game
Thanks for trying it out! :)
Yes this was my first attempt at 3D so there was a learning curve with capturing the mouse, among other things. I spent most of the time figuring out some of the basic movement in 3D so I didn't get to the mechanics that more closely fit the theme, such as the player's emotions changing based how the people react, or having the people attracted or repelled by the player after interacting.
The game doesn't run properly !
Thanks for the feedback! Which part? I tested it on windows with chrome and it worked ok.
