A very interesting idea. I really liked the background art, although not so much the blocky big-headed character art. Also, maybe I'm being dense but I didn't quite get the significance of bargaintown.
And on a gameplay level, even though I rested and saved before the rotating eye level, dying there put me back at the start of the level with only half health, but before three unskippable dialogues, which is kinda the worst of both worlds.
You'd be quite right, there is no significance in this version of drink !
Yea, I should have made that level more clear and better designed (moving the dialogue points, making it more evidence to the player they would restart at exactly 3 health) so I apologize for that! Towards the end I got incredibly lazy and chose not to do a lot of things for the player.
Thanks for playing and thanks for your criticism !
Don't normally see VNs in jams, especially ones this well done. Art was fantastic.
Glad you enjoyed. Thanks for playing !
Wow. Such a beautiful and touching game. It's honestly quite strange to see such a visually great game made in... Unity. All the other Unity games are clunky, not very visually appealing and most of the time very laggy.
Here's what I would improve:
Everything you said is EXACTLY the things that have bothered me since I finished. Had a lot of plans especially with the health/rest system, but it just didn't come to fruition.
thanks for your input, and thanks for playing !
Deep story and lovely art style. My favourite of the jam so far.
Woww, glad you enjoyed. thanks !

Mac Version works well. I was able to finish the game without any issues.
Thanks for the heads up !
