I know some things could be upgraded, like the background that is always the same, or the transitions. But it was my first solo game jam (and second total), and I wasn't really familiar with Godot to make a really big game, or to make lightings or this types of details. A lot of things came from tutorials.
I already added checkpoints, a shadow for the player (to help the player know where he jumps) and a few more things in the Post Jam V1.
I'll try to implement some of your ideas in the future version of the game (the painted controls is a really good and simple idea but I didn't even think about it, it's like in Isaac).

I like the dirt rolling mechanics and the visuals but the game is a bit repetitive later on.
