I felt really challenged and managed to get through the first level even though it took me awhile. Really enjoyed the gameplay, it was fun to figure out how to bounce around and maneuver through everything. The controls are easy but personally I think the dash was a bit hard to use just because I was getting used to the space bar (I wonder what it'd feel like if I could just double tap on the A-D keys?) Art is also simple but I love the details. Overall really well done :)
The controls are tight and I like that 馃槃 I didn't know there was wall jumping until I accidentally did it and then the level layout made more sense haha!
Also, sometimes I would jump and not catch the platform but I think the water is connected to the height I reach so it doesn't have a constant speed (at least I felt that) so it felt a little unfair because the water speeds up sometimes haha.
I didn't get very far also but I like the art and the music and the tight controls and overall it was a fun experience! thank you 馃榿
Thank you I'm really glad you enjoyed it! Haha if only you knew the amount of times I died whilst playtesting. You probably got farther than you think as well since there's only 2 levels.
The art is sooo good! Also the gameplay is simple and well done.
A little note: maybe it鈥檚 just a thing of mine, but it would be more comfortable if the jump had been on W instead of spacebar (it wouldn鈥檛 have destabilize the hand on the right side)
Thank you so much! And thanks for picking up on the movement, I really tried to get it to feel right. Also great suggestion about the controls, I'll definitely try to add an input settings menu in the full one to allow for different setups.
