What I liked: I loved the tension that comes with not being in control. I was always a little nervous that the driver would make the wrong turn. The rage meter was a great addition that gave you even less control and made the few choices you had even more important.
What I would suggest: My main complaint was how you would typically go left, than right, than left, than right, and so on. I think more complex maps could remedy this. Or perhaps a key you need to pick up before reaching the exit. I really liked Dominik_Dec's suggestion of using random words rather than left/right.
Thanks for the feedback! Yes we'd wanted to implement blocked roads (for roadworks). We've made it so it can easily be set to different sized grids for more levels. I wanted to make it 3d, and go down hill, but we had to be realistic about scope. Curving, or more complex networks, of roads would be a lovely feature.
This got me thinking. What if you made a type-trainer out of this. So instead of only typing left or right you type random displayed words corresponding to left and right. Well good job! A cool idea you came up with.
Yes that's a great idea! Could even be in alien languages, to teach where different letters are on the keyboard. And make the game more interesting.
This was really fun once you got the hang of it. I really liked it.
This was more fun than I think it deserved to be lol.
It was interesting how things that would normally make a game annoying actually made this game a more engaging experience because of the scenario.
(These sound a bit like back-handed compliments but I honestly did like the game!)
Thanks! My first published game, I'm so happy you liked it. Yes, removing control from the player, a big no no, but hilarious 😂 right?
