Good aestetics and idea, but it is too simple to be awesome...

In reality it is almost like tic tac toe.

I think of it more in terms of 4-in-a-row than a card game, and I'm unsure about it's balance after playing while against myself. Maybe it's more angled towards one player winning than the other? But as I made a card game as well for the GMTK jam, I had to check this one out, and I know it's hard to BOTH be working at getting the game to work and having graphics AND making sure it's well balanced and the rules are fair. Framing it as a game in a totalitarian communist state upped the experience a whole lot too :)

I love the music and the aesthetic for this card game. I like that a card with a communal board has a communist feel. Wish I was playing against a computer instead of myself because that changes the strategy a lot if you can see the cards.

Winds up being an interesting (if probably solvable - In most draws I think Player 2 can force a win if Player 1 doesn't play for stalemate and I'm not certain about the one draw me and my husband had where Player 1 won) take on the four in a row genre of abstract strategies. I've seen similar tabletop games to this, but never with a shared hand in a game with a deck.
